About Terri

If you’ve gotten this far, you know that my name is Terri Fry Brukhartz, LCSW, CPCC. Yes. I have a lot of initials after my name.

I’m a trained business coach and licensed therapist. Since 2000, I’ve brought an unusual combination of clinical expertise and real business experience to help small business owners and entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

Business Experience

The first 15 years of my career were spent in the advertising industry working for The Leo Burnett Company, CBS, and founding The Fry Group, Inc., a highly successful publisher’s representative firm. My client roster included such magazines as Conde Nast Details, Men’s Health, and Harvard Business Review. On their behalf, I conducted business with companies ranging from General Mills to United Airlines to Accenture. I have hands-on experience with both entrepreneurship and big business, bringing a very informed background to my business coaching practice. Currently, I have two businesses in which I apply all of my experience and training: Terri Fry Brukhartz, Psychotherapist and Terri Fry Brukhartz, Business Coach. Formal Training

I have a Masters Degree from Loyola University Chicago. I received my coaching certification from the Coaches Training Institute, one of the largest and most well-respected providers of coach training in the world. I conduct workshops, speaking engagements and have experience on several boards in the Chicago area. I’m an active member of the Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce.
